Three Creeks Power is completing construction of a 690 megawatt (MW) combined cycle power generation facility (the Project), approximately 40 kilometres (km) northeast of Peace River, Alberta. Three Creeks Power has acquired the necessary regulatory approvals for this Project, from both the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) and Alberta Environment and Parks (AEP) and is now applying to the AUC for an amendment to build and operate an improved design that increases efficiency and reduces emissions.
We held a community open house for the project on October 22, 2018 at Chateau Nova in Peace River, AB. We heard from several stakeholders who provided their feedback, asked questions and spoke to members of our project team.
We appreciate your feedback and will continue dialogue with landowners and stakeholders in the area.
Display materials from the open house can be found at the link below. Stay tuned for project updates.
